The Dave Coates Stunt Show Team

The Team currently consists of Dave Coates and commentator Wayne Kershaw.

Dave, a qualified Advanced Motorcyclist, has been stunt riding now for over 20 years. He has held various World Records over the years and currently holds the world record for riding backwards on the bike at a speed of 151.7m.p.h. He also did a run of 138.2mph with his delightful wife Sandra facing backwards too. Dave will be aiming to attempt other world records this year. Dave was one of the 1st in Europe to be a professional Stunt Rider.

Wayne is known for his role on Men & Motors TV as a presenter for Motorcycle programme “ 2 Wheels” amongst others.He also commentates on events such as The Sheffield Indoor Trials Event each year, and had a very successful career in Sidecar Trials, achieving wins in 6 British Championships and British Experts and Isle Of Man wins.

While Dave goes through his routine Wayne explains to the crowds what is happening, what is involved in doing the tricks, interacting with the crowd and generally giving Dave some light hearted abuse at EVERY opportunity ! Needless to say, Dave does not let Wayne get away with this and resorts, at the end of the show, to 'rewarding' Wayne with a scary pillion ride on one of the bikes!
